Grace’s Open Door  is the clothing and household items part of Grace’s Ministries located at the Reformed Baptist Church at 28 Meadows Rd, Lafayette.  They are  open Thursdays from 10 am – 1 pm.  Clothing for infants through adults, housewares and miscellaneous items.  All free to Sussex County residents in need.

Bread of Life is a local ministry, driven by the spirit of God and empowered by the Holy Spirit, which offers free lunches to those in need.  Prince of Peace assists this ministry on the second Saturday of each month. (And sometimes when there falls a fifth Saturday.)  Volunteers help provide and serve soup, sandwiches or a hot lunch. When we are scheduled to serve, we meet at the First Presbyterian Church on Main Street in Franklin at 10:30 AM.  We begin serving at 11:00 AM.   Want to get involved: sign up to host or contact the host for the month, make a pot of soup, sandwiches, help serve, solicit donations…

Feed the Northeast 2021 Benefits Local Pantry! For the fourth year in a row, the Northeast Thrivent Member Network supported its members in fighting food insecurity in communities across the region with the Feed Northeast Thrivent Action Team Incentive. They encouraged members to host food drives for local non-profit pantries and gave them assistance to do so. As added incentive the first 50 teams to gather 500 items would receive $500 for their local food pantries. Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Hardyston took up the challenge. Volunteers gathered well over 800 items for "Grace's Pantry" in just two weeks. Even after the church had qualified as one of the first 50 the food kept coming. So many from the community joined the effort, with a large donation coming from the Sussex Elks Lodge. As a result, “Grace’s Pantry” a non-profit food pantry located at the senior center in Franklin, has more food than their shelves can hold. If you need assistance with groceries, Grace’s Pantry can help. Current hours are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 am – Noon. Beginning in June the pantry will be open Monday through Friday from 10 am - 12 Noon each day. Please call (862) 266-9126 to schedule a grocery pick up.
  • Fellowship in the Word:   For younger members Sunday School is held on the first and third Sunday each month.  Classes for ages 3 thru Adult. • Flowers can be placed on the altar on any Sunday by placing your request on the flower chart in the main hallway of the church or calling in to the church office. They can be placed in memory of loved ones, in celebration of any event, birthdays, anniversaries etc…. After the service you may take them home or ask Pastor to share them with a shut-in.
