Lectionary
Dedication The
Lectionary for Cycle B of the church year, the year of St. Mark,
has been dedicated by Dorothy Willison. It has been given to
the glory of God in loving memory of her dear friend Mildred
Dvorak.

what may be coming up. They may be left in the office mailbox.
Thank You! ASAP!!!
REMINDER

Weis, and A&P. Purchasing these cards helps support the
work of our church and pay down the church mortgage.

in memory of a loved one, in celebration of a birthday or anniversary
etc
the new flower chart is now up in the main hall. Each
arrangement costs $20. Please write all dedications carefully.
Eternal Candles may be dedicated for the entire month at a cost
of $15.
LUTHERAN
HOUR Sundays on WOR 710 at 6 AM . The Lutheran Hour"
can also be heard on the Web http://www.lutheranhour.org.
NEW
GRAPEVINE - ON LINE Well, the world is getting more global
so we don't know if it's bigger or smaller and the Grapevine
needed to become smaller so for those of you comfortable with
the internet check it out on www.njdistrict.org.
The preview issue is on the Narthex table.
YOUR
PRAYERS Probably the most important thing we can do for
one another is to pray for each other, and you are encouraged
to do so. Your private prayers count just as much as those that
are offered on Sunday mornings. Prayer requests are received
by Pr. Vogt after the sermon. Too embarrassed to ask? Simply
write out your requests and give them to Pastor or the Deacon
before service.
BULLETINS
We are looking for sponsors for our Sunday bulletins. They are
a wonderful addition to our Sunday worship and although they
are not expensive on a weekly basis the cost adds up quarterly.
You can help - bulletins can be sponsored with a dedication
each Sunday at a cost of only $7.50. If you can sponsor a Sunday
please contact the church office.
LOOKING
FOR A WAY TO HELP? There are many ways you can use
your talents here at Prince of Peace. Volunteers are always
welcome for small projects (see our trustee Dave Rutan), as
Ushers, Altar Guild, Sunday School and especially on our Church
Council. The council is currently looking for a Council Secretary.
If you are interested please speak to our President, Sue Epper.
If you
find yourself in the hospital please make sure that you
let us know. Call the church office, have the hospital clergy
call us. We will keep you in prayer and a visit from Pastor
is free!!
Please
silence your cell phone before entering the sanctuary
SHOPPING
CAN HELP POP! Did you know that you can help your church
just by doing your weekly grocery shopping? Well, you can just
by purchasing gift cards to Weis, A&P and Shoprite. For
every $100 you spend on groceries, your church receives $5.00
Simply purchase the cards from Ethel Hemlock or Althea Lethbridge
on Sunday mornings before or after service or from the church
office during the week. You can purchase them with either cash
or check. If everyone used these cards to purchase their groceries
and medications at the respective stores, we'd be able to increase
our contributions to mission work, maintenance, mortgage and
more... So what's holding you back? We need your help!!

New
Way to Give: Prince
of Peace is pleased to announce the introduction of an electronic
option for making regular offerings. Contributions can now be
debited automatically from your checking or savings account.
Our new electronic giving program offers convenience for you
and much-needed donation consistency for our congregation.
If you are currently giving on a weekly basis, you will no longer
need to write out 52 checks a year or prepare 52 envelopes.
And, when travel, illness or other circumstances prevent you
from attending services, this program will allow your
weekly offerings to continue on an uninterrupted basis.
An authorization form and a “Frequently Asked Questions”
flyer are available from the church office.
