CHILDREN'S FELLOWSHIP Afraid to join us because your children get fidgety. We understand, ours do too. But set your mind at ease. To make service more comfortable for your child they will now be able to join children's fellowship. They will walk to the room directly outside the sanctuary (closer is better) right after their children's sermon to enjoy some time with each other. They will be returned right after prayers so that they can join their family for the Lord's Supper.

PRAYER CIRCLE Join the prayer circle and add your name to the list of those who are called when a prayer request comes in. All it takes is a few moments of your time - you receive the call, add the prayer to yours and call the next name on the list to pass it on. To join, simply give your name to Pastor or Althea Lethbridge.

NEW IN OUR LIBRARY Did you know we have a library? And yes you can borrow books from it too. The latest addition to the library is "Moses, The Long Road to Freedom" retold by Ann Keay Beneduce. It is a beautifully illustrated retelling of the story of Moses and the flight out of Egypt.

PARSONAGE FURNACE UPDATE The old parsonage boiler has been replaced. The plumber was gracious enough to do so with the understanding that payment will be forthcoming. (We still need to pay for it.) Please remember to give as generously as possible to the coffee hour basket each week towards this goal. Thrivent Financial has agreed to help us by matching the funds raised. Please keep your eyes open for other upcoming events.

CONFIRMATION CLASSES The evening classes will now meet on the second and third Fridays of each month from 6:00 - 7:15PM. The students will then be able to attend the Youth Group meeting which starts directly after class. Confirmation classes are for youth in 7th or 8th grades. Youth group is open to youth grades 5th through 12th.

NEW GRAPEVINE - ON LINE Well, the world is getting more global so we don't know if it's bigger or smaller and the Grapevine needed to become smaller so for those of you comfortable with the internet check it out on www.njdistrict.org. The preview issue is on the Narthex table.

YOUR PRAYERS Probably the most important thing we can do for one another is to pray for each other, and you are encouraged to do so. Your private prayers count just as much as those that are offered on Sunday mornings. Prayer requests are received by Pr. Vogt after the sermon. Too embarrassed to ask? Simply write out your requests and give them to Pastor or the Deacon before service.

PARKING Some of us are terrible at parking or maybe just cowardly. Once nicer weather gets here we can park closer to edges of the lot and even on the lawn if needed. But certainly we can all park a little more carefully and a little bit more closely together to make room for our friends and guests.

BULLETINS We are looking for sponsors for our Sunday bulletins. They are a wonderful addition to our Sunday worship and although they are not expensive on a weekly basis the cost adds up quarterly. You can help - bulletins can be sponsored with a dedication each Sunday at a cost of only $7.50. If you can sponsor a Sunday please contact the church office.

Please silence your cell phone before entering the sanctuary

SHOPPING CAN HELP POP! Did you know that you can help your church just by doing your weekly grocery shopping? Well, you can just by purchasing gift cards to Weis, A&P and Shoprite. For every $100 you spend on groceries, your church receives $5.00 Simply purchase the cards from Ethel Hemlock or Althea Lethbridge on Sunday mornings before or after service or from the church office during the week. You can purchase them with either cash or check. If everyone used these cards to purchase their groceries and medications at the respective stores, we'd be able to increase our contributions to mission work, maintenance, mortgage and more... So what's holding you back? We need your help!!
