Prince
of Peace Early Learning Center
The
staff and children have had a busy, but fun first 3 months of
school. WOW! It is hard to believe we will be finishing up our
3rd month of school already. How time flies!
Here
at the Early Learning Center we are winding down from the month
of November. The teachers have been talking to the children
about all the wonderful gifts God has given us; families, friends,
homes and food to name a few. We also discussed all the blessings
that God gives us and expressed our thanks in various ways.
When
we return from Thanksgiving break…December will bring
the excitement of Christmas! We will begin with advent, and
they will also be learning all about the Christmas story which
will lead us to preparing for Jesus’ birthday celebration!
The children will be busy little elves themselves this month
making some wonderful ornaments and gifts that you will treasure
for many years to come.
December
also brings us our Christmas Program. Our program will be in
the evening for all classes on December 20th at 6:30(snow date
December 21st). We can’t forget about our SECRET surprise
visitor who will visit the children at Prince of Peace too…
Shhhh!
January
we will be welcoming in a new year…2011! It also brings
us closer to spring and halfway through the school year. All
the children have accomplished so much already and we look forward
to all their new accomplishments in the new year! The new year
also brings us the start of our registration for our 2011-2012
school year. More information will be coming home regarding
this soon.
We
will be saying goodbye to 2010, but we are looking forward to
working with you and your child in 2011. The ELC staff and I
wish you and your family a wonderful holiday season and a New
Year full of Joy, Love and many blessings.
God
Bless & Happy Holidays!
