Day 2006
Sept.
10th marked the beginning of Sunday School and the start of
the year. The sanctuary resounded with hymns including "Onward
Christain Soldiers" and "Lift High the Cross".
Members talked and reconnected while Sunday School had its opening
orientation. Everyone then gathered in the back room for a delicious
summer brunch.
Thank
you to Caren Vogt, Katie Vogt, and Dawn Schofer for preparing
and serving the brunch.
Thank
you also to all those who helped set-up and clean-up. Everyone
working together made it a perfect day.
Vacation
Bible School 2006
This year's
VBS "Treasure Cove" was great fun and a huge success.
Although it was the hottest week of the summer. We want to thank
Tammy Kanunaido and Dawn Schofer for taking VBS by the horns
and making it happen this year. Laura Rutan led the music. Jean
Stephens led the skits. We are also grateful to Harriet Anderson,
Lois Figula, Kim Haber, Tracey Van Sickle, Sue Verso, Amanda
Hayes, Zack Stephens, Jason Figula, Chelsea Piper, Caitlyn Metz,
and John Titka. Everyone working together made the week great.

VBS
Mission Project
Our mission
project this year was Ginnie's House in Newton. Ginnie's House
aids children who are abused, neglected, or have witnessed a
crime. We raised over $300 with which we bought 2 DVD players
and a number of DVDs' for the children to use during their stay.
